The two videos don't agree on bay leaves and their methods are a little different but both seem very informative for us beginners.

One thing I am confused on is them using feed grains. First he tells us not to skimp on O2 absorbers to save a little, but then he uses feed grain and warns you to buy it at the right time of year or it might be dusty or infested with bugs. Seems like you have to know what your doing or you might get burned trying to save a buck.

You really need to freeze anything prior to putting it in buckets for about a week at -5 Celcius. This should do in most of the bug larvae that may have bored into grains etc. and are waiting to hatch.
